Club Xcites’ social clubs in San Diego offer a variety of athletic, adventure, and community service opportunities for kids and teens to build friendships and have fun in a non-judging, non-threatening small group environment. Under the steady guidance of our experienced yet youthful social coaches and mentors, participants hone their social skills and have the opportunity to forge friendships with others in our program. With years of mentoring, teaching, and coaching experience, our mentors have crafted an effective forum for students to interact in a setting where fun and excitement dictates everything they do.
For students who need more professional therapy in San Diego or intervention through a licensed specialist ClubXcite offers a one of a kind Specialist Service. The key to quick and lasting results is not only a skilled professional working with your child but the day to day practicing and application of the concepts or skills learned. ClubXcite can provide you with one of our Specialists who work hand in hand with our skilled social coaches who support the student during these social activities and reinforce the learned strategies. Our approach not only quickens success but it is also cost- effective.
Natural Opportunity Model
When a child or teen enters our program, our director will meet with the parents and if desired any other professionals working with the student to set up a Club Xcite Achievement Plan. This plan details information about the child or teen, his/her struggles, triggers, goals and objectives we will be working on during involvement in our programs. It will also outline a plan of action put together by our San Diego mentors or tutors who will be working directly with the student.
During our one on one mentoring or social group activities our mentors and tutors in San Diego have these goals in mind when interacting with your child. Since all our programs and services are activity and interaction based, natural opportunities for teaching arise. Our mentors and tutors look for these teaching opportunities and take advantage of the natural situation to coach, teach or modify behaviors. After each session the mentors document important interactions, improvements, and challenges for each student and this data gets highlighted in our performance tracking sheets for parents to view.
