Hotel Vacation Buddy Program

While the emphasis of San Diego family vacations is togetherness, as kids get older there are often moments when parents want a break. The San Diego Vacation Buddy Program provides youth-oriented activities at the hotel or at various off-site destinations. Chaperoned by engaging university-aged child-care “buddies” we promise you won’t hear the words, “I’m bored,” on this vacation.

ClubXcite’s unique Vacation Buddy (Babysitting) program provides hotel guests under the age of 18 with a college-aged “buddy” who is familiar with cool youth activities offered in and around San Diego. Vacation Buddies are selected from ClubXcite’s stable of youth mentors and coaches, and can coordinate an exciting agenda of enjoyable activities in San Diego individualized to you and your child’s interests and preferences.

From pool games to beach exploration, tennis, ping-pong, or just hanging out, your child’s Vacation Buddy  adds energy, excitement, and just enough structure to create fun-filled summer memories. No matter your child’s age, interests, or ability level, we have a Club Xcite Vacation Buddy to meet your needs.

Children, including teenagers, seeking adventure beyond the hotel’s grounds can be joined by a Vacation Buddy (Babysitter) for any number of off-site activities, partially listed at right. ClubXcite vacation buddies are also available for larger group events such as birthday parties or multi-family vacations. We work with parents ahead of time to plan a variety of fun and engaging activities so every child has a blast.

ABOUT CLUBXCITE
ClubXcite is the leading private youth mentorship organization serving San Diego and Orange Counties. We provide one-on-one afterschool tutoring and mentoring to youth aged 6 – 17. Using their energy, talents and fun, active role modeling, ClubXcite mentors enhance academic, athletic and social development.

OUR VACATION BUDDIES
Our Vacation Buddy mentors represent the “all-stars” of the ClubXcite roster: college-age young adults, experienced in building confidence in youth through positive reinforcement and individualized attention. During the school year, mentors serve as social and athletic coaches, helping students in a one-on-one setting and in weekly social and sport clubs.
All mentors undergo thorough fingerprinting and background checks and conform to ClubXcite’s highest standards of excellence.

ClubXcite is able to negotiate special group pricing for activities at most venues

Pricing
One child: $30 per hour (3 hr minimum)
Each additional child: add $10 per hour
