Even the hardest of subjects can be broken down and learned by any child or teen. Our San Diego tutors have the experience and knowledge to evaluate a student’s comprehension of a subject and start teaching from a level comfortable to them. Our specialists in conjunction with our tutors are able to evaluate and support students with learning disabilities.

Our unique approach
Unique to the Xcite program is that our tutors in San Diego not only focus on the specific subject, but evaluate and coach a student on their study habits, test taking skills, organizational methods, memorization practices, and problem solving clues. These are the skills that prepare a student to become the independent learner essential in high school, college, and beyond. For students who need more professional coaching, therapy or support through a licensed specialist, ClubXcite in San Diego offers a comprehensive Specialist Service Program.

Measuring success

Every tutor in San Diego begins by speaking with the parents, student and educators to assess the student’s needs. This assessment, along with a series of goals for the next three months, is compiled in an Achievement Plan for all parties to observe and work toward. At the end of three months the Achievement Plan is revisited and adapted where needed. In addition to the Achievement Plan, tutors fill out Performance Tracking Sheets every two weeks that chronicle a student’s growth, areas needing improvement, and the subject matter covered.
